We accept referrals for 1-19 years old children and young people from parents,caregivers,teachers ,health professionals or any other relevant person . For referrals please contact us.
We offer assessment and consultation for children and young people. Services include but not limited to the assessment and management of-
- Sensory Integration/ Processing Disorder ( sensory issues)
- Dyspraxia/ Developmental Coordination Disorder
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Developmental Delay
- ADHD
- Cerebral Palsy
- Head Injury, meningitis sequel
- Pre and Post Botox upper extremity management
Our services include-
- Full diagnostic assessment: Using a wide range of standardized and non standardized tools. We also offer multidisciplinary assessment.
- Advice consultation: Face to face consultation is preferred. Phone, e-mail and Skype consultancy are also available for New Zealand and International clients.
- Individual and group education e.g. parent/caregiver sensory education group, children ( >7 year old) sensory education sessions.
- Skill building: Handwriting development, Self Care and the activities of daily living, Self Management.
- Equipment and basic housing modification Assessment : Equipment and Modification Service Assessment for public funded equipment ( Enable NZ). Prescription of equipment like buggies, wheelchairs,hoists, shower chair, bath lift, sleep positioning equipment, etc.
Training: We conduct range of workshops and seminars. For example- Sensory Education Courses for children/parents/caregivers/teachers/professionals at least one in each school term. We welcome expression of interest from schools, preschools, hospitals etc to host our workshops and seminars. We can custom make the training packages to suite your need.
Area covered: Primarily we cover the Wellington region- Wellington city, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Porirua, Kapiti, Wairarappa.
